Shaving versus Waxing
Do you prefer shaving or waxing for legs? And why?

Shaving. I can't let my hair grow long enough on my legs to get it waxed - just feels gross to me. I have shaving my legs down to a science

I'm not shaving or waxing my legs. Like it hairy. I'm male anyways.

Was just wondering, why don't you try Lasering them? Like photolysis or something. It's very common here.

I had laser hair removal on my under arms and have considered getting it done on the lower half of my legs (below the knee). It's quite painful, but bearable. Guess I should get off my butt and schedule a series for my legs, but my leg hair doesn’t grow that fast and it really isn’t an inconvenience like my under arms were.

What I've always wondered is, what do models, particularly lingerie and swimsuit ones, do? I'm sure some have had laser hair removel, but do the majority wax?

I've always thought waxing (even though I've enevr done it), has got to be easier(in terms of maintenance and effect on the skin) than shaving?

I do neither, I use Nair. Part of it is because I'm lazy - the other part is that it gets ALL the hair (I have a tendency to skip the knees when using a razor...). Also, it's a less painful alternative to waxing.

I prefer shaving b/c its painless... but waxing is awesome! keeps the hairs away for over 2 weeks.

Om a scale of 1-10, how painful is waxing? Is it worth it?

Ip prefer waxing. It keeps hair away for weeks and thats great because I have dark hair. At first time it can be little bit painful but itīs worth it. From scale 1-10 I would say itīs 2 or 3. But thatīs me, everybody is different and someone can be more sensitive for pain

I agree. Waxing the legs, in my opinion, is less painful than a brow wax

waxing is kind of painful but not as mucha as people say it is. I wax my legs, bikini line and armpits and its betetr than shaving beacuse the hair grow more fragile. In u were to shave hair grow back in about days and really and strong. But sma thing as shaving don't let the waxed area in the sun.

I also don't find waxing that painful. Its like plucking your eyebrows. There is a tiny amount of pain but you don't really notice it.

But it changes for everyone. My friend's the complete opposite - waxing almost kills her!
