Apparently hydroquinon is the only thing that has actually been proven to whiten skin. When patients suffer from more than 50% vitaligo they have the option of applying a high dosage of hydroquinon cream to their skin in order for it to completley lose it's pigment like the affected areas. Is it worth it though ? True you will have whiter skin but you will have to wear spf 30 ALL THE TIME !! Otherwise look forward to a future of wrinkles/possible skin cancer. Also did you know that hydroquinon can lead to skin discolouration !? You could end up with uneven patches on your face........whatever you do just make sure you buy a product with a low dosage so that the risk factor is lessened. Good Luck !
wouldn't go for hydroquinone tbh
it's got too many potential side effects . . uneven skin tone etc.
& in the long run you could end up worse off than before you started
stick with a good sunscreen (high SPF!) . . la roche posay anthelios lait is the best imo
which applied daily will do your skin more favours than any other product

I was rooting around the Macy's website and I came across this product. I've never tried nor have I ever heard of it so I can't testify as to what it's like but I thought I'd post it in case someone else has.
The best product is to use prescription strength Retinoids like Retin-A. As well as shrinking pores/blackheads the retinoid acts as a sort of chemical peel, with the new skin that is revealed containing less melanin. You end up with a clearer and much brighter complexion !
