I use to love doint stomach crunches because in mandatory PE class, it was always, choose between pushups or crunches. I'm weak in the arms so of course I chose the latter
Last time I did 500 crunches was awhile ago, and that was an one time thing. My stomach has never been the problem, its the thighs
The question may be "how many CAN you do", but it should be "how many SHOULD you do"?
I could do many more, but they say anything past about thirty daily is worthless.. I give my abs a rest every other day. They're just like any other muscle group... they need rest, so I figure, I'll obide by that.

Glad this is still going strong! Hope we are all keeping up with our crunches - got to keep those tummies taught and firm!
Seriously - how many crunches are peole doing at the moment. I've got a bit slobbish and lazy - ought to get back into it. Maybe a good session tonight will start me off. Anyone prepared to join me in about 500? I want sore abs tomorrow!

Could you tell us what your ab routine is? It would be good to try something new! I did 500 the other evening and it hurt! Oh well - it's my own fault for being so lazy!
