Don't smoke

Don't drink (well, a beer or wine with dinner is good)

Be always sure of yourself and don't depend much on others

Follow your instincts!

spend more time with genuine friends who know your true self & think about if it's worth getting into unhealthy habits at clubs (sleep, drinking, smoking etc) for the sake of socialising with party friends.im 18 so it might be obvious for other ppl..

Pick your battles.

It's good to have principles and to fight for what you believe in, but sometimes the stress, time and effort put into challenging something may make you more miserable than just accepting that not everything is perfect!

So let the small things slide.

Stop thinking about the past and look to the future.

Besides all great all advise above, I would like to advice you all to test reflexology, on your feet. It a great way to "heal" you body, from headache,
pains in your stomach, it can recover a cold (I have heard),well im not good explaining it, but it has helped me a lot, I do it every evening in front of the tv, I just massage my feet with some bodylotion.
Read more about it here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reflexology

Thanks to this, I barely take any medicine or painkillers!

Which I guess is my advice, Laugh. It's good for you, inside and out.
Oh I laughed so much at that too! I thought it was just me though! But good advice if I ever cross the Mafia

From personal experience... if occasion doesn't require it, don't carry a giant purse or wear high heels. I am still a student and recently I found out that carrying giant purse caused my spine to be misaligned. For my health I switched to backpack; I figured I still have years ahead to carry purses and high heels.

smoking is the most disgusting thing ever. more than anything else its just smoke going into your body, why would you like that?

An i agree, laugh is the best medicine, stress can make you look and feel older and tired. I know its hard sometimes to look at the bright side of things but just try to make the bad ones not so bad and the good ones very good .

Do not ride your bike on the sidewalk. On the sidewalk you are out of the line of sight of the soccer mom in the minivan with a cell phone sticking out of her ear and about to turn and run right over you. You're better off in the road going the same direction as normal traffic where everybody can see you. Sidewalks are for pedestrians.

Do not converse on the phone when you are driving--not even hands free. Just turn it off before you even merge into traffic. You can call them back when you're off the road. And if it's so damn important you just can't wait, then get off the road and talk to them from the parking lot of a convenience store or whatever.

To add to that, don't text while driving. People shouldn't even have to be told not to but apparently telling people not to is actually necessary. Scary....

Oh yeah and this little quote from CHRISTIAN D. LARSON is something i try to read every morning...

"I promise myself: To be so strong that nothing can disturb my peace of mind. To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person I meet. To make all my friends feel that there is something worthwhile in them. To look at the sunny side of everything and make my optimism come true. To think only of the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best. To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as I am about my own. To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. To wear a cheerful expression at all times and give a smile to every living creature I meet. To give so much time to improving myself that I have no time to criticize others. To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble. To think well of myself and to proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud words, but in great deeds. To live in the faith that the whole world is on my side, so long as I am true to the best that is in me."
