'Things a person should do to avoid problems later in life' thread
This thread is for all you people to tell us young people things that we should avoid doing at our young age to avoid problems later in life:

Example: Don't eat a lot of fatty foods! Cellulite will bite you in the ***!

Stop using sun beds - not only do you look like an oompa-loompa afterwards but youll look like the back end of a sun baked cow in a few years!

Gesh...I have so much to say...ummm...always trust yourself and be yourself no matter how hard it is.

People can give you advice, but when it comes down to it, it is your choice what to do--not anyone else's. No one knows what is best for you but yourself

You can lie to everyone else, but never lie to yourself. Be true to yourself.

Ok, I will leave the rest of my babblings for another time :p

Don't take anything too seriously -- you'll be glad to know that when one or two major things (or even more ) in your life don't work out, the sky won't fall down. Not beauty or body-related but just thought I'd add it anyway. For beauty-related, never shave places like your face (stubble!) or your arms or something. And don't wear too much make-up, especially at a young age!

When it comes to friendship, it's better to have quality over quantity!

DON'T PICK OR SQUEEZE AT SPOTS OR LUMPS. It may seem like a good idea at the time...you may forget the tragedy that happens in the aftermath and a few weeks later decide to have a go at your skin with a blackhead squeezer but the scars won't go away, and yes it will re-infect and become scarred, I'm paying the price now and yet I never learn...every time I see anything that resembles a potential pus filled pore I hack away at it and make matters so much worse. Just don't do it. You'll thank yourself.

Don't squint a lot....it creates lines around your eyes.
Don't get your eyebrows waxed because it makes the skin around your eye area looser.
Don't hunch over.

And, like someone else said.....use sunscreen. Always use sunscreen, especially in the summer. Removing cancerous skin cells is not fun.
