CVS, the drugstore. But of course you could get it at Walgreens or other. I believe mine was about $5 for nearly as many ounces... so cheap! Especially when you look at other scar treatments. And since I'm so giddy about it I'll share this also: CVS has a bottle of pure glycerin as well, which you dilute with water and apply to the skin. (Hopefully I'm not being stupid, maybe everyone has heard of this!) The back reads "a valuable aid for chapped skin"; I put it on my face and it worked miracles overnight. I felt like I'd found the Holy Grail with those two products!

I don't recommend Retin A one bit. It's so harsh, relatively expensive... dries your skin out terribly much and makes it very sun-sensitive. But everyone's skin is unique so perhaps it will work for you. You can only get it by prescription, so you'd have to pay to see a dermatologist as well.

By spots, do you mean pimples or scar spots? I really would say to try vitamin E oil if it's the latter; otherwise, it's a matter of experimentation, to see what your skin will respond to. If you have the money to see a dermatologist, that might be helpful.

the glycerin is more for dry skin, but if you have "fresh" scars it would probably help heal them less noticeably, so that they aren't as dark. and it's no problem. I just hope I wasn't too teacher-ish.

Retin-A actually caused skin abrasions and led to scarring for me... haha that is actually why I am here! I do not reccomend it either.

Yeah I guess it does just depend on you skin because Retin-A cleared up some of my scarring, while the bleaching cream I'm using got rid of them almost completely.

I use a combination of Vitamin C serum and Vitamin E oil, and I noticed a difference on the scar in about 3 days......

I use it in the morning and at night.
-wash face
-toner
-vitamin C then when it dries vitamin E
-Moisturizer

drink the vitamins, put them on your skin, take them as much as you can take them...

Exfoliation is also good so you're gonna be developing new skin cells, so the dead ones gots to go!!.

SPF is also key

I suggest to go to the derma and get a diamond peel or micropeel. It will lighten your blemishes on the face.

Yeah you can just buy it at health food stores. It's reasonably priced and you can even just buy it in capsules and break open the capsules at put the oil inside on any scars!
