Yesterday I got Hanae Mori and Eau de Cartier (because the SA refused to sell me L'eau d'Issey).

Samples tossed into the bag: Hermes Eau d'Orange Verte, Mont Blanc Individuel, Thierry Mugler B Men, Kiehl's Original Musk.

Lancome Miracle and Chanel Chance. (Although, i've been wearing Miracle more). I'm searching for a new fragrance, and it's so hard to decide on what to get! .

Awww today I spritzed on Thierry Mugler's Angel and alien as there were so many raves about them in this topic. The angel one at the time I didn't like very much and thought that there was nothing angel-y about the scent (but now the initial gust up the nostrials have gone away, it does smell more pleasant ..... although the subcategorial scents within Angel confused me The one starting with V smelled the best in my opinion). But Alien, ahhh, I have to say it must be one of the most alluring scents I have smelled. It's sweet and flowery, and in that aspect, somewhat similar to Estee Launder's beyond paradise, but it also has a "darker" twist I don't know how to really describe it, but in Alien, there's a hint of something more bitter, and therefore it's a "darker" and "deeper" scent (almost sounds like I'm describing a person ), like beneath the happy facade, there's a more twisted and irrevealable secret very suited to its name Alien! (Makes me instantly think of Radiohead's Creep). The other outstanding one was Comme des Garcons's 2 (I think it was called) Its smell is liken to the natural sweet and woody scent of a certain type of tree, out of which they makes fans in Asia... It was very nostalgic to me If you don't have that experience, maybe you won't take a liking to it... It's a pity that they didn't sell any other Comme des Garcons perfumes in that store, I sure would have liked to try on some of their incents range
