Interesting thread! I'll be in Paris on saturday, so if I should buy anything, recommendations would be warmly received!
I definitely want to try Crealine H20, is that available just at a pharmacy?

Also, is Cle de Peau makeup available in Paris?

Is Chanel makeup cheaper in Paris than the rest of Europe? Anyone know how much Inimitable costs?

Isn't sublimage around $350?

so not worth it, I got one from a gratis switch, and I use it as a footcream.

I found this on Vogue.fr on the 'mythical beauty of la parisienne' which might give some ideas of classic, French beauty products to buy.

Essential Fragrances
Chanel no. 5

Nina Ricci, L'air du temps
YSL, YSL Paris
Guerlain, L'Heure Bleue
Hermes, 24 Faubourg

Skin care products
Nuxe, Huile Prodigieuse
Clarins, eau dynamisante
La Prairie, Creme Caviar Luxe Visage
Leonor Greyl, L'Huile de Palme
Estee Lauder, Advanced Night Repair
Elizabeth Arden, 8 Hour Cream

Legendary Cosmetics
Helena Rubenstein, Mascara Long Lash
Dior, Rouge Dior Lipstick
Lancome, Mascara Hypnose
Guerlain, Terracotta bronzer
YSL Touche Eclat

Biologique Recherche products are amazing and its rare to find them in the U.S. unless you're in L.A. or SF or NYC.

I dont know if they're sold in pharmacies but their address is
BIOLOGIQUE RECHERCHE
32, avenue des Champs Elysees

Have fun and please report back what you were able to find.

It is $350 here, wonder if it's cheaper over there.

I like La Mer better if you want a all in one moisturizer for face/eyes. And it's slightly cheaper.

To all of you travelling to Paris have fun! Paris is a shopper's city. I couldn't help but mention to those of you from the States, that I walked into my local CVS to see them re doing the cosmetics section. The next week, it was like I had walked into a French pharmacy. They had La Roche Posay, Vichy, Avene! Many larger CVS stores are now selling the complete lines for these brands, including Vichy's Dermablend line. So for regular French brands like this I would say skip them they're at home.
