I use La Mer's hand cream during the day and I can say that it is fantastic even after you wash your hands you can still feel the effects, also it is not too oily (I cannot stand that)

But at night time I use Palmars Coco Butter, I like the scent!

The crabtree & evelyn packaging is so pretty!

My hands got painfully chapped recently, and the l'Occitane offerings I used to like for daily use felt too silicon-y/waxy/slippery and unnatural.

I really needed to feel buttery natural oils permeating deep to heal and comfort my raw skin, and for that, I found Weleda to be perfect. My hands are soft again after one day, and smell like juicy lemon peel. Mmm. I like the Skin Food and Calendula creams too. So soothing!

I'd love to have tried Dr. Hauschka's, but Weleda's price was more attractive.

L'Occitane is my Holy Grail when it comes to hand cream.

Avene Cold Cream is also a great line (has saved my face several times), although I haven't tried their hand cream.

This cream smells like heaven!

Dr. Hauschka Hand Cream is still my favorite, though. The one from "Sante Natural Basics" with Bio Olive & Ginger is great as well.

For years I suffered with horribly dry hands during the winter months. The skin would get so dry that it would crack and bleed! I tried so many different hand creams over the years from inexpensive to the expensive. Nothing worked.

Then one day two years ago someone in my office put a bottle of Victoria's Secret Vanilla Lace Hydrating Lotion in the ladies room for everyone to use. I decided to give it a try and put it on after each time I washed my hands in the ladies room. I was amazed how quickly my hands healed and never cracked or bled the entire winter. I never expected those results from a lotion from Victoria Secret! Now I won't go without it. I keep a bottle on my office desk, in my kitchen and my bedroom. I also smells really yummy!

At the airport I tried some of Avene Cold Cream on my hands and it's really good! I still like L'Annine though, but Avene Cold Cream was excellent too.

Would someone be so kind and recommend a good hand cream please? I work in a pharmacy so I'm handling loads of paper, always have a pen in my hand and when we have stock delivered; I handle the boxes. My hands tend to get very dry after a day at work. Thanks in advance.

I have really sensitive and dry hands, and I can always rely on Jurlique Rose Hand cream. It's not too oily, it absorbs well, and makes your hands really soft
