I take the regular Centrum multivitamin pills but not regularly. I forget to take them on the weekdays and take them on the weekends after my longer cycling trips.
There were some other multivitamin pills I was taking but I can't remember the name. I ran out of those but I liked them. Don't know if the helped my health at all but they turned my urine a really cool flourescent canary yellow-green color.
im taking a pre natal multivitamin called elevit (im not pregnant) as i had heard it is great for faster growing hair and nails, so far i have really noticed a difference in how fast my nails grow and how strong they are, ive also noticed that my skin is a little clearer.
Recently I began taking a multivitamin and calcium supplements, which I guess I should have been taking all along since I'm a vegetarian and always seem to forget to eat! Anyway, my nails have been growing like crazy since then, which may or may not be a side effect. Hopefully it'll have the same effect on my hair, since I'm impatient and want it to grow even faster than it already does...
Most of the time I just eat fresh fruit/drink fresh made juices or eat veggies. But, some time ago, (when I felt a bit down.. not fit) I used L-tryptofaan 400 mg. It has Serotonine, it helps against stress. Melatonine, that helps to regulate a healthy day and night rithm.. good against a jetlag. I don't know for sure if it really helped me. But, it's all natural and safe to take.
I bought also Omega 3, but I didn't used it yet.
i've been taking iron tablets for about a year now because i found out i was anemic,i also had a b12 injection.and i take vitamin c tablets to help the iron absorption.
I definetly notice a difference when i havent take my iron in quite a while, everythings so much effort
I take a multivitamin with iron, a seperative vitamin C and zinc tablet and a evening primrose oil and vitamin e tablet. My skin has been so much better since taking extra zinc and vit e.
I'm thinking of taking a vit b supplement as well.
my grandparents are health enthusiasts, and they give me vitamins from a company called Standard Process. They are supplements made from food so the body absorbs them better. There are several companies that make vitamins that way. Does anyone know about Berocca tablets? I've heard several models mention them and I was wondering if they are any good.
