yes biotin's great for nails, plus for skin and hair
but one shouldn't take it for long time, after 2-4 weeks of intake there must be a break for 6 months before starting taking it again, that's what dermatologist told me

What if it's in the daily vitamin you take? Does that apply only if it's in larger amounts.

I take a few different New Chapter products.. I have found them to be great. I take their 'multivitamin' (Every Man: One Daily) their wholemega fish oil, and their turmeric force, which is my favourite product.

Flax is good, but it doesn't provide you with the ever-so-important DHA that is found in fish oil.

True about the flaxseed ^ ...unfortunately.

I've heard New Chapter is good but pricey. What do you like about their tumeric product??

They are indeed so pricey but you really get what you pay for with most of their stuff. I buy it online at iherb which is like half the price of what it costs in stores, even after shipping.

Their turmeric product is amazing. I don't like standardized extracts, and this one is a really potent full spectrum extract of turmeric, which is biodynamically grown nonetheless! Taking it has really helped with my chronic back pain as well as my complexion. Turmeric is good for pretty much everything.

yes, sure, the amount of biotin in the daily vitamin is much smaller than is solid biotin pills, usually just about 10%, so you can freely take your daily vitamin as long as you need

****NEED ADVICE!!!!******

MY NAILS ARE BRITTLE AND THEY DONT BREAK OFF, BUT RATHER THEY PEEL IN LAYERS.HAS THIS HAPPENED TO ANYONE ELSE? IF SO, WHAT DID YOU TAKE TO MAKE THEM BETTER? I SO BADLY WANT LONG, HEALTHY NAILS, BUT THEY BREAK BEFORE I CAN EVER DREAM... ALSO, MY HAIR IS TAKING FOREVER TO GROW, ITS ONLY GROWN LIKE 4 INCHES IN LIKE 6 YEARS..IM FRUSTRATED...HELP!!!
there is a thread about hair growth i know, but i've been puting castor oil with coconut oil on my scalp and my hair grows VERY FAST also, when you have you oil on your hair its ideal to have like some sun exposure . I suffered from an active alopecia and my doctor recommended that i exposue my hair to the sun while i have oil on it, he explained to me hair is just like plant, it needs nuturtion, sleep, sun and also less stress...and my hair grew much much faster...in fact too fast i need to trim it every month

I've been taking fish oil (with magnesium, B6 and B12) and EPO for a while now. My skin used to be so dry, now it's soft even without body lotion, my nails are also so much stronger than they used to be. I definitely see this combination working for me, yay!

Hm, most of you can't use the brand for anything because it's Danish.

- Extra Strong multivitamin
- Queen Bee Food (Should be good for the immune)
- Sillica for the hair
- B6 and Magnesium for pains around my period.
