I know B12 vitamin injections are amazing and can make you feel better almost instantly, although temporarily.

I take a multi without iron - whatever brand is on sale, there's really no difference to me - and fish oil because I hate fish so I need fatty acids. I've noticed the fish oil capsules have helped a little with my dry skin too.
I also take prescription-strength iron supplements because I'm severely anemic.

I was scouting around for a vit pill and decided to go with Holland and Barrett Skin, Hair and Nails formula as it contains calcium, iron, D3, the B vits and C, A, E etc. I was previously looking at Floradix but got put off as there's no calcium or vit D in it and I'd rather go for an all-in-one supplement which was easier to take as it had the ingredients I wanted.

Early days with the H&B tabs so I can't report on its efficacy, but I also take Starflower oil and Hemp oil and sometimes spirulina, all of which I think makes a difference.

Since I added 5,000 mcg of biotin to my daily intake of vitamins my nails are very strong. I never really had a problem with breaking or chipping nails but they're definitely stronger than before. I haven't noticed any difference with hair growth.

I tryyyy to do daily:
1-2 baby aspirin
"green" supplement- from Healthforce Nutritionals (& if I can't get this in, I'll take a pill form)
Calcium-Magnesium-Zinc (from Trader Joes-skin/hair/nails formula)
1000 iu Vit D3

Occasionally I'll switch out the Ca-Mag-Z for a multi-vitamin & sometimes I'll take Turmeric or Triphala (herbals) but you have to take them w/o food or after a certain amount of time etc and I never remember. And sometimes @ work I take 3 caps of Glucomannan which is a natural fiber supplement so I'm not ravenously hungry (heard about it on Dr. Oz).
