I've been using Stila for a while and I'm growing tired of it. Chanel is okay, but the last few things I've bought haven't been too great quality-wise. I'm tired of Lancome as my old reliable.
I've never tried Nars anything, ever. However, I have a friend who swears by it and the color palettes look so vibrant and interesting. Is it a good quality brand? How are the foundations, concealers, well pretty much all of it? I heard that it was originally created for theater make-up, so in the past I was afraid it would be too heavy and dramatic. I tend to have more of a soft, natural look although I love color.
Sometimes when I'm lazy I just use their lip/cheek stain and I look all made up.
Everything blends well and lasts.
The only problem I ever had was a lipgloss that was too sticky, but figured out that all lipglosses are like that. Although it weas sticky it still looked great.
Yay, good feedback!
So if there's anything else, anyone with differing opinion, please tell me now because tomorrow afternoon I'm headed to the cosmo counter!
I actually compared NARS eyeshadows to MAC's eyeshadows and by far it was inferior. NARS colors are much more vibrant and stay on much longer then MACs.
ANother brand that I enjoy is Lise Watier. She's from Montreal and based in Montreal but I think she sells in France too. Atleast I think I saw her stuff there

Haha your so awesome I think you should just have your own makeup line and show all the MA how it really should be done.
I am a huge NARS fan. In general I use Clinique foundation, but it's usually NARS everything else, save mascara (which I buy Maybelline). Their powders--highly pigmented, so they last longer than others in their price range, at least in my experience. The colors are young, hip, and edgy, but not so out there that you couldn't find several "wear to the office" possibilities. And don't even get me started on their blushes, lip lacquers, and Multiple sticks! I'm swooning!
My all-time favorite NARS face for day is an e/s duo in Bellissima, blush in Sin, and Classified gloss layered under Revolt gloss. At night, though, it's no holds barred, I could just go crazy! And I believe everyone should own a Multiple in Copacabana (an excellent highlighter!) and in South Beach (wonderfully subtle for use as a bronzer!).
