I think it depends on how old you are. I am a firm believer in fragrances being age-oriented. A seventeen year old shouldn't wear Chanel No.5 and a 45 year old shouldn't wear Daisy by Marc Jacobs. But that is just my two cents.

I think it is a matter of confidence. If wearing it makes you feel good, go for it!

There is no reason why a young person can't wear vintage clothes, so I don't see why a young person can't wear vintage perfume.

I'm so over the Stella McCartney scent...damn. A girl from school smelled on me, asked me what I was wearing and bought it the same day...I'm just so sick of it

I'm sticking to Narciso Rodriguez, it's brilliant for summer. I wish I had the EdP though, you need to reapply the EdT constantly

Then go for it if you want classic! And I know how you feel, I can get very overwhelmed with some perfumes.

That makes sense, Tangerine, I hadn't really given it much thought that way.

^^^^ L de Lolita Lempicka is gorgeous, the bottle is beautiful.

I used to detest Chanel No. 5, but now I love it. Weird how that happens.

to everyone who wants cK One Summer 08:

buy Marc Jacobs Grapefruit Splash instead.

it lacks the strange chlorine note (that at least i detected) and smell... rounder.

its also cheaper!

^ I've been wearing Fresh Sugar Hesperides this summer, which smells like grapefruit to me ...

I will be buying Creed Spring Flower in a matter of hours and will be getting Creed Virgin Island Water at the end of June. I'm thinking of getting Judith Leiber, too.
