katinboots i have the jc 99 wedges in regular leather and i have to say they are uncomfortable after 3 hours of walking. i got a 7.5 when i'm usually a size 7 and i put heel grips on it. my toes hurt and feel like they are being squished, i think because of the shape of the top of the shoe. i had the acne atacomas and they are by far more comfortable! i also wear heels/wedges almost everyday. if you will be wearing the jc 99s for a short period, go for it because they are flattering and i do find myself wearing them often. beauty over pain!

Maybe it's not so "designer", but what about the Cynthia Vincent 'luella' ($400) vs. the Jessica Simpson (I know...) 'Adreana' ($89)?

^ For over $100 they better be leather! I don't think JC makes pleather shoes, I would much rather prefer them in suede No go from me..

Yes, that's what I meant too, but the leather looks like pleather, and then I don't care if it's real, it looks bad...
