omg, i just discovered victoria secret catalogue - wasn't aware they were even doing shoes! At 40$ a pop i want, like 10 pairs but im sure they're bloody awful in person. Is the quality really bad?

This was my first pair of shoes from the VS catalog and I find the quality good. It even has a rubber sole on the bottom to keep you from slipping. They are a bit heavy but no more so than any other large platform shoe. So far I've worn them mainly for going out a night.

Balenciaga vs. Sam Edelman (again)
I too got the Sam Edelman Balenciaga-likes from Victoria's Secret. I got mine on sale for $99.99. I love love love them! Though I have to disagree with Jessie77us, and say that they are NOT comfortable. Even with the hidden platform, I can't keep them on more than a few hours tops. And I'm a high-heels-everyday girl... but imo, no 5 inch heel will ever be comfortable, and the pain is worth it, they're hot

^ Very good observations, especially with the Balenciaga inspired booties! Too bad the closest bebe store to me has a nonexistent shoe selection, because I'd like to see those in person.

i tried on those mary janes at bebe a few months ago. i was so excited to see them at the front of the store. however, they dont carry half sizes so everything was either too small or too big for me. and they were sky high, so i didnt get them.

Those VS/Sam Edelmans are fierce! I'll just hope that they get reduced further...

Here is a Payless version of the famous Roger Vivier pilgrim pumps:

Those Oak NYC studded sandals are FIERCE, but I fear by the time I have 98$ to spare they will be on the way out?

And just for kicks and because I love them, anyone got any good tips on affordable gladiator sandals? I can't seem to find any.
