those are new productions due to the popularity

I didnt know they were back in production! I didnt think they were so popular since they ended up on sale. I really want the heels. I have to resist though, $1200 is waaay too much.

yep they're from gw. I have the boots but I agree the heels are much better in leather, suede shoes in general dont seem very practical to me.

I too wonder about this....would DIE to get a pair of the knee-high covered platform boots (the ones worn by Ashley Olsen). Passing over a pair of those in my size (albeit at full price) was my #1 fashion regret of 2006. I usually get over these "missed treasures" but could not get over that one....still think about it in fact....and haven't come across a pair in my size anywhere thereafter. They were the perfect boots in my mind....and pretty comfortable too (for that height) when I tried them on. If Balenciaga re-releases that boot I think I might be first in line to fork over the full price $1600 or something like that. Ridiculous price, but just the most perfect boots ever.....I haven't seen anything quite like it.

Just got this photo from my SA. It's the same as the giant hardware shoes but in a patent sandstone colour. Lovely! I'm going to check these out in person tomorrow.

Those shoes water_daisy posted don't really reek of 'Balenciaga.' They remind me of shoes I've seen on websites for cheaper.

I prefer the actual runway shoes, but that's just me.

I want a pair of the runway shoes Not the crazy ones with the bike chains but the ones MK was wearing. I hope they go on sale.

Seanutbutter - I got the plain ones. The runway version is great but too wild for me, perhaps I'm too old They are really comfortable!! Much more than any of the Chloe wedges that I have. I think Balenciaga does a gladiator style pretty much every season but I think these still look very Balenciaga. I'm really happy with them - they make my stumpy legs look "long".

I really like those flat ones

I hate some of the platform-styles from S/S tho.. Especially these:
