Icon3 Christian Louboutin sizing

I want to get a pair of peep-toe Christian Louboutin shoes (eg. Yoyo or Caroline) but I don't know what size! I think I'm usually an 8 in US shoes so is there any advise you guys could give me?

Hi!
I'm just buying a pair of YOYO's and I called a couple stores and asked some louboutin owners they run a little small so get a size half up.
I'm an 8.5 and getting a 9
Hope that helps

I 2nd this.....Louboutins run VERY small. I am a US 8 as well and wear either a 39 or 39.5 in Louboutin.
How do you fit in other shoes? I think Louboutins fit close to JChoo, in which I wear a 39 or 39.5 as well.....Manolos I wear 38.5.
Usually if I am buying from a Louboutin boutique w/o trying on first I ask how the stlye fits. If they say on the smaller side I order 39.5, otherwise I get a 39.

I usually wear a 7.5 - 8, I have the yoyo zeppa's in 8 and the yoyo's in 7.5, although I wish I had gotten an 8.

I'm usually a size 5.5 - 6/size 36 for most shoes. For Louboutin I have to get size 36.5

If you get the Caroline, I would recommend a full size up. Normally for Louboutins I only go up 1/2 size, but the Carolines are a very stiff shoe so they don't "give" or stretch the way others do.

Christian Louboutin sizing

For anyone who has these or has tried them on, how do they fit compared to other Louboutins?
I wear a 39 or 39.5, but am thinking the suede will stretch a lot and the 39 and 39.5 is no longer available!
Do you think I could have the 38.5 stretched to fit me?
Thanks!

No, they narrow in the front so don't size down... I actually wear a size 8 but I got them in 8.5... of course my were patent leather so the suede might stretch a bit more but IMO sizing down would be a bad decision.

Thanks for your response shalu, but do you mean you wear an 8 in Louboutin's or an 8 in other shoes. I am an 8 too, but for some reason Louboutin's I have some 39.5 that are SO small and some 39. Their shoes vary SO much, perhaps because some are so narrow. My first pair I ordered a 38.5 thinking I should size up and I could not even fit my foot they were that small. They looked more like a size 6 to me! Weird? Anyway I love these, and wanted them in the chocolate, but only an 8.5 and 10 is left

well, I wear an 8 in most shoes including Louboutins actually but I know what you mean about the sizing... I have Louboutins that are 7.5, 8 and also 8.5 so it does depend on the shoe but I generally consider myself an 8. But in these particular shoes I got the 8.5 and the Barney's SA also mentioned that most people were sizing a half size up. He said not more than that b/c then they would be too big but they are most comfortable a half size up due to the narrow toe box.

I agree with the other posters. The 38.5 will be too small. I just got the cognac leather version with the wood platform and they do run narrow in the toebox, so sized up. Most Louboutins run small with the exception of the Helmut pumps in my experience.

Thanks for the input!....and sorry for making my own thread.....I am new to post on the forum, but I see that I should have added to this thread in the beginning.
I ended up finding a 39 which I think will be perfect. I was really not thinking logically about the 38.5, but sometimes beautiful shoes will do that to you
