Anyone have trouble with the zips?

I've only been wearing mine for half a year and the zips are catching and almost ripping apart at the seams...

I have the Nappa 1460 and the Pascal 1460 both in black. Is it overkill that I want the 1460 black Smooth as well?

So far, my collection's composed of the two 1460, a 1914 black smooth, Mini Tydee 1460, Cherry Red 1460, Black 1461 and 8065 Mary Janes.

When I lived four months in Edinburgh, I was surprised to see how many people have Docs ! I love those shoes and thought to buy a pair; but then I understood it's very British and I do not have the attitude and style which match.

anyone knows a fast way to break their pattern leather? I have a pair from 3 years ago, I donīt wear them very often (specially in S/S) and they still are too tight

rub baby oil outside and inside...it'll soften the leather. or you can get the wonder balsam that DM sells. and then wear them with thick socks for a few days.

^I just realized that I misspelled "pattern", I meant patent leather
do you think I can still apply your baby oil tip? I donīt think I can get the balsam in my country...

yeah i believe you can still use the baby oil to soften the leather. in fact i think most any leather conditioner will help.

I disagree! Owned a pair for over five years, worn them to festivals, day in day out for quite a while, perhaps twice a week at the least, and every day at the most, and they're still looking fantastic, no tears, nothing. Doesn't happen that often with shoes.

20 hole boots searching...
Its been a good while since I've posted on here but I have been watching this thread with some interest as I've been looking for a new pair of Doc's for a while and have set my sights on the 20 hole knee length ones. Not sure of the style/model number.

However these would be safety boots and I'd rather the original design without the zip - apart from eBay I can't seem to find those anywhere.

Is there anywhere left in the UK which has those still available?

Thanks.

My doc martens are pretty comfortable depending on my weight. If I'm heavier obviously there will be some pain. I bought AirWear or AirWalks, I can't remember. I cut the huge yellow tag off the back and I even got complimented on them for being cool.
