OK, I need to ask Brian (who knows more about designer heels than anyone I've ever met or threaded with) two questions:
(1) where do I get them, in red or black
(2) do I need to size UP or not, or size down (as he knows, I wear 40.5 CL shoes -- sometimes, but a 40 Gwenissima. Oh well...

ikram in chicago and barneys new york carried these shoes in red and black, but i'm not sure if they're still available .....
i think you should get the shoes in 40.5, i've heard they run pretty true to size.
if they don't have half sizes i'd go for the 41
I can't understand it. I take an exact 40 for Alexandra Neel, Brian Atwood, D & G, and Chanel. Gucci, I am more like a 39.5; Marc Jacobs, too. Why should I need a 40.5 (usually) for CL and almost a 41 for Jimmy Choo? How can the sizing be THAT different???
It sure makes shoe shopping troublesome..... ESpecially because I've learned the hard way that I CANNOT shoe-shop AT the actual store; the styles I want are ALWAYS not there -- they've been bought up by foot-obsessives like me. Yet shopping by online or telephone means I can't try the shoes on and have to HOPE that they'll fit.... SOOO much tsauriss

i know. sizing is all over the place all the time. it makes things really hard, especially ordering online or over the phone. the best thing to do is try the shoe on in person, but it's not always possible.
give the stores a call, see who has what, and in what size. you might be able to fit into the 40!
