After looking at more and more pics I am really upset that so many prototypes were made for runway but only 1 or 2 styles were released to the public.

I will be in NY end of this month and in Europe, different locations end of May beg. of June so I wish I knew I had great chances in landing a pair in any of these locations

I'll call tommorow and ask if they are getting another shipment, didn't even think of that! I'll also call barneys, I know Irkam said they are the only ones in the US that have these shoes but they are not always so credible.

No, they are not the only ones. I told the SA already that Barney's also carries (but out here in Chi) but she seemed to let that comment fly by

Oh well.. funny thing though. There is a Lanvin in Ankara, Turkey I found out. I will call them tomorrow and ask what they have since I will be there in June

I am very surpised to hear they are not selling the runway version. Has anyone tried the Lanvin stand alone store in Paris?

The higher ones are 1000x better, but I still like the lower ones. Are they worth $900 though, should I still get them?

I think you should still invest in tho shorter platformed version. They are still beautiful shoes in my opinion (though you are right the higher version is 1000x better). I think if you ended up not getting them you would regret it as popular Lanvin items are somewhat of a rarity on ebay.
