Does anybody know when the Faith ones will be available online? They're not up on the site yet and they haven't replied to my email. I think these are the same ones as in the latest Vogue UK supplement, with the black heel. They're absolutely gorgeous.

I found Office's version on ebay which are also nice but they went for 205 which is way over my budget.

to anyone who has bought these type shoes...how long would you say they are comfortable to wear (in hours?) I know sometimes platform shoes are easier on the feet than other heels...are these some you could wear 8 hours standing/ walking?

The cork ones are pretty comfortable, the wood heels less so.
I don't know about 8 hours but I wore them for about 4 hours shopping and I was fine.

I think it just depends on the actual store to be honest and how much stock they get..some stores are bigger and have more range. I did see the wooden platforms on the topshop website a few days ago though.

I have a pair in white and black from jildorshoes.com. They have a size 8 left I believe. You're right, they sold fast. I think they got their shipment about 10 days ago. I've also heard some Nordstroms got shipments as well.
Macy's also has the Steve Madden Lalu shoe. They are extremely popular, flying off the shelves.

Someone on Ebay painted a sole red on a JS Amy & a JS Barb. It doesnt look to bad. She used modeling paint. Id just be afraid the red my come of a bit on someones wood or tile floor... you know like a scuff mark as you walk.

^Yeah, that sounds like a bad idea. But I guess if you painted the sole apart from the part that touches the floor it might work. Bit drastic though!

i thought about that, painting the sole.
i wouldn't do the red, only cos they're already a knock off shoe, i wouldn't wanna make it seem like i'm trying to fool people...i'd do like fuschia, or yellow!

i HOPEFULLY have a pair of the barb on the way to me..i know my sister's shipped out, but i'm not sure about mine. i'm so anxious for them!!
