I just got some brown Stuart Weitzmans. They are effing to-die-for. I'll try to figure out how to work my camera (!) so I can post a photo of them.

I got these by Max Studio. They're 4" with a .75" hidden platform. So awesome, and very cheap.

So they were inexpensive, too? That makes them all the better!

Here's a few pairs I'm considering getting. One is by the aforementioned Max Studio!

Let me know your thoughts...

The Splurge...Lanvin tuxedo heels $564

yoox.com

Moderate...Stuart Weitzman oxfords

Via Spiga Equips

Cheaper, but quality brands.

Max Studio 'Yess' Oxford Laceups(my initial preference back in September, but I no longer know how I feel about the heel :-/)

Dolce Vita Stella Oxfords

amazon/shopbop.com

The Lanvins are obviously amazing, but hardly practical. I'm actually leaning towards the Via Spigas at this point, but do you think they'll work in the Spring? Or should I invest in a pair that are quirker, perhaps with a bolder hue, like these blue patent laceups from Erotokritos?

I know that colorful peeptoe oxfords will be big in the coming season, but I might get a pair of those later on (if they hold my attention).

Any feedback would be appreciated. ::flowers::

# 1, No

# 2, 3, 5 maybe depending on the outfit.

No opinion on the rest.

I seldom buy shoes from that price point but I have to say that I find those Via Spiga extremely comfy...

I think the Spigas are the most versatile. Beautiful, too. You could get the most use out of them.

Hey, I know you! I love the Lanvin and Dolce Vita 'Stella' oxfords, but I do agree with you concerning the practicality of the former pair. Plus, at that price you could probably buy several (cheaper) pairs of oxfords.

I saw a really adorable pair of brown oxfords at Forever 21 today. If I were to get some I'd be willing to invest in a really well-made, moderately expensive pair, but these were actually pretty decent.
