I was going to say something black and strappy with the red dress. How tall are you? The taller the better, I agree.......

No to espadrilles. I like those chloe's a lot! They would look great with the dress. Are you going to be dancing or just hanging at the dance? That may make a difference in the heel height, width you choose.

You need fierce shoes.

Burberry Prorsum

Chloé

It shouldn't be too hard to find something similar.

Your dress is very simple and gorgeus - that's your chance to wear fierce shoes, really. I know that you are 5"9, but I say the taller the better. I'm 6"2 in heels That's like... 3" taller than BF

I am searching for shoes to go with my prom dress...
Here's the only picture I could find on the internet that looks closest to it:

Except: It's in black, and is spaghetti strapped. Here's a shot I took to get the detail of it:

edit: Sorry, ^that pic^ is huge! Just a warning.

Ideally, I want some t-straps, you know, something that matches the style. But not too costumey, something modern.
I am considering buying these:

Opinions? Suggestions?

I really do like the pair of shoes you have picked out. Red is an excellent choice.

I bought these (in brown):

I don't know what to wear with them . I'm thinking, when it gets warmer, to pair them a long flowy skirt? What do you think?

^Light blue jeans with the legs rolled up a bit and skirts, yes. Not just flowy skirts, any skirt will do

uberchic, I really like the red you've picked out. Red and black are great together and the dress is lovely.

uberchic, the red shoe would be a great pop of color and a neutral shoe would give you lots of leg so it most likely depends on where the dress hits your knee. but if you can go for a narrow heel with a little platform for added comfort since you'll be on your feet so much.

sissyneck, I use to wear those mocs with cut off shorts in high school, and they also go great with long denim skirts.

blackpeace, lingerie?
