Shoe sizing

Valentines comes and I get taken to Harvey Knicks for shoes. I pick up a pair of Choo's and bwoy am I smitten. I had the sales girl asking me if knew my size in J.C, I shot a smart look as if to say did you not notice what I wore in! Anyway, get my shoes home and go to sleep and wake up first thing in the morning with a desire to try them on in my boudoir only to find I could not squeeze my feet in them! I was on the edge of hysteria and if it wasn't for that morning clock ticking I would have been rooted to the spot in distress.
Anyway, its a good thing I went off to work because upon my return, my choo's fitted once more like a dream.

Anyone have any info how Versace shoes run - large, true or small?

I only have one refernce for Versace: Wife found she fit in a Versace 5.5, when she usually wears 6.5 in other brands. But that was one case only

I have just seen the most fab pair of Costume National boots in a US size 5. Does anyone know if there is any chance at all of me getting my euro size 37s in or am I gonna be like the ugly sister ?

^ Hate to disappoint, but if you're a euro 37 there's no way you'll be able to fit a US 5, short of hacking off a toe. Costume National in my experience runs pretty true to size, and in some cases a half size bigger. But never 2 full sizes bigger!

On a related note...can anyone tell me if Rochas shoes run true to size?

Thanks for that. I was debating whether to get them and try and stretch them anyway. The heels are pretty high, so I wouldn't be in them all day, but thanks to this and another reply in a thread I posted, I think I'm gonna have to let them go

euro 40.5 is the same as UK 7.5
