Caffiene -- I like everything about them, except for the yucky heel

I'm afraid I have to nay those too Caffeine And add the outside zipper to the heel. Love the color though... naturally

And, Guessgirl.. I'm sorry, I missed your request. I'm going to add a "What she said" to Em's post above ^

Guessgirl96,

The boots look gorgeous on you! Don't return them...I have the exact same pair and I wear my ankle jeans tucked into them and have minimal "wrinkles". Another look is to wear them over leggings...Sienna Miller and Lindsay Lohan are sporting this look these days...

I want to say the Louboutins are possibly more versatile ... OTOH, you don't really need complete versatility, you need them to work with your stuff Btw, I saw the MJs tonight in person except the flat, and I like them better flat than with the heel. It's a cute shoe ...

I'm having no problems with my velvet shoes so far ... and it's similar to suede in terms of when you can wear it. (Yeah, you can wear suede in the summer, but it's different shoes many times ...)

The Louboutin are more classic, the MJ more funky ... part of the decision should be how they look on your feet, of course ... but if you like de funk you could definitely bring it to the Louboutins with your choice of hosiery

not too keen on the whole cowboy look, but the heel is nice and high... but being Lorenzis they probably cost a fortune, so nay...

If you absolutely HAD to wear cowboy boots (Lord knows why!), those would be the ones to wear: maximum boot, minimum cowboy!

Seems to me that if your boot is over-the-knee in length, it should be a dark color unless your legs are VERY thin... that model's leg looks tiny (where you can see it exposed) but because it covers her knee it seems to add a lot of bulk to the way her leg looks. Add some jeans there and she instant weight gain I would think.

... at least, I think. I haven't seen light colored boots this high in person.

I also don't dig the cowboy boot look in general and I imagine it won't be back next fall either.
