Yay! I finally got a pair right.

Will order the white Helmut's today! Thanks everyone for the opinions!

QuirkyCool - I agree with Curious: Chloe, Margiela then Ann. Although I'd have a really difficult time deciding between Chloe & Margiela as both are equally fabulous!

the price is very right. i'm just not sure if the first pair looks too boho. i think if i put them with classic clothes they wouldn't.

the second.. i'm not sure about the toe.

Difficult cupkate...I like the top one and it's not necessarily boho...the bottom one reminds me of those Jimmy Choo boots but I don't like the hardware on the side...

Boot number two is smarter, number one more casual. It depends what you want them for...I'm no help am I?

For myself I would prefer the shape of number one You have to decide what goes with your wardrobe best.

cupkate - yay the first, nay the second. The first is a nice, attractive, simple boot. I wouldn't worry about them looking too boho - it's not like they're covered in fringe and scraps of rabbit carcass or anything.
I dislike the squared-off toe on the second...and the sole looks kind of off...and like QuirkyCool said, the hardware's not so nice...well you get the idea. I think you can do better.

thanks quirky and droogist! advice from two people who's style i really love.

i was thinking nearly the same thing. it's amazing that we won't trust our instincts. i think i'm just so desperate for flat tall boots.

Thanks all for your opinions on the white Louboutan Helmut.

I've actually decided to go with the black leather instead. I'll get the Clichy in a sweet color such as blue, pink or white.....hopefully Mamba the white Clichy won't look like hooker shoes! LOL I'd definitely have to get them in a 4" not a 5" especially because I have such small feet. But, if anything I'll resemble a ballerina on her tippy toes, not a hooker. :p

For those of you who haven't ventured over to the Clichy thread these are the little beauties:

Nice, Papillion!! You didn't ask for opinions yet, but I vote for white :p I know people have rather strong opinions about white shoes, but I love it in this shoe

Cupkate - a little late & you may not want my opinion , but I really like #1. Not a fan of the buckle or toe on #2.

Thanks Curious!

I too love the white or maybe blue since it can sometimes be difficult to find nice blue shoes. The pink are wonderful, but pink shoes seem to be abundantly available.

I do understand people's aversions to white shoes, but in the Clichy something just seems so right & sweet & innocent. I guess it's the same idea as with the pink satin Louboutin's I posted awhile ago, it all depends on what you'd wear them with. I do not dress anything like Paris Hilton or a hooker so no worries there.
