I guess some prefer rugged boots rather than anything chic. To that end, I'll give these boots in Post #71 a Yay! They somewhat remind me of when work boots were trendy in the '90s. Only that more of the camel-colored or honey-colored boots were popular. If you're eyeing these, don't let me stop you.

The two-tone wedge shoes in Post #73 has too much going on for me to approve them. Not a hot mess, but not lovely either. (Moderate) Nay! from me on these shoes. Just too much going on, but they aren't ugly enough to where I call for an Absolute Nay of them. On a positive note, the deep cranberry color (or whatever it is) is nice and appropriate for this style of shoes.

Confidence. Dress that way, shop with it. Have a great day!

Question on Boots
Hello fellow tfs-ers,

I bought a pair of Anne Klein riding boots online on Black Friday. I'm not a boots-lover, so this is my first pair of boots. I tried them on after they arrived and:

1) they're a bit snug on my calves (I was wearing only leggings)
2) I got a blister on both of my heels from the friction against the hard leather.

I was wondering if I should return the boots. I'm looking for boots that I can wear w/ both tights and jeans (my roommate says this is not doable since the boot will be a bigger size for the tights if jeans can fit in). She also mentioned that leather stretches after you wear it out, and that I have to break the boots in with a couple of blisters.

Your thoughts? Keep or return?

Well, do they fit with jeans on? I wouldn't worry about the blisters, the leather does stretch with time. Can you wear them with thicker socks? That should protect feet from the friction.
Style-wise they're lovely!
