It's a bit hard to tell. With the color change fading dark to light, it may not be noticeable. Might take -just the right- outfit though.

Nay from me, the pointy toes are out of proportion to the heels to me, it just looks a bit wrong

Allow me to weigh in on those pumps in Post #11,146. I think those pumps are too pointy, and all the prints and such on them are somewhat an eyesore. So I'm unfortunately going to have to Nay! these. However, I don't extremely hate them. This is more like a light-to-moderate nay.

You may look for other pairs of high-heel, pointed-toe pumps if you still fancy such a pair. I wouldn't go with these, though.

Time to help out timemachinedream with Post #11,152. Here's my response- Big Yay! I'm sure you'll be sporting the cutest pair of boots in NYC with those. If it were more of a caramel or a chocolate brown color or something (goes to show how much of a sweettooth I am!), I'd like them a bit more. But for what they are, I give my vote of approval. Those are winners to me, timemachinedream. Don't hesitate in getting these if you like them.

Dress with confidence and take care!

So you want some ideas on these boots in Post #11,154? I already know that people are going to disagree with me, so read me before you plan your attack. Those Pedro Garcia boots from a past post were boots that I yay'ed that PinkPrincess113 posted. However, these boots are a Nay (somewhat)! This is like a cheap attempt at making Dr. Martens more chic, and fails. This is rugged meets chic. This is tough meet chic. The end result of these boots paired with that kind of heel equals a shoe that tries too hard to be chic despite its ruggedness. Someone in a past reply to one of my posts said that tough and chic CAN work, as demonstrated by Ann Demuelemeester. Well, nice try trying to make the world's most romantic Dr. Martens-style boots. Nothing cute about these boots. They aren't an eyesore, though. So my dislike is only limited.

I'd stay away from these. If I want a rugged boot, I'd look for a traditional pair of Dr. Martens-style boots. If I wanted chic, I'd go with either a decent pair of boots with that kind of heel give or take a lace-up design. You can't have both at the same time, and those boots are a disasterous reason why. Fail boots.

Now go ahead and disagree with me or prove I have no sense of style. This ain't my first rodeo...

lol John_m- you take this so seriously.
timemachine-yay
pinkprincess- yay, but Topshop did a similar shoe a couple of seasons back which is much more subtle and I think I prefer it: http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/img-thin...=l&tid=2180327
If you've decided and are choosing between colour, i'd go with black.
