Wowzers, the Prada shoes are quite dangerous looking; they're practically vertical! Like Mistress f said, I think it was the socks that caused the problems- them being slippery and then you're not exactly sure how high you're standing because all the slipperyness makes it all woozy... The JPG ones are beautiful! and blumarine! 'Blu' coloured and hey! look! looks like theres 'marine' objects decorating the front of the shoe! Very fitting

There haven't been an abundance of tdf shoes this season.
BuT!
Valli, Saint-Laurent, Chanel and Lanvin all still to come!
Hope yet.

i know! my hopes are high on lanvin chanel ysl and miu miu... apart from the jpg's nothing was particularly stunning so far (maybe a couple prada's and the diors, but that was it) - but i have to admit that it's been the same for the clothes... imo.

the devi krolls at the beginning of this thread are jaw dropping......

i like the guccis- and agree they are reminiscent of ysl tributes...but i like that they are slightly more aggressive with the multiple ankle straps...

the prada 'peds' are cute...but i guess not so practical if they make the shoes so slippery
(i find that too...i like wearing socks with shoes, but sometimes it's hard to walk......)
* i guess you could solve that by using the styling trick of putting double stick tape inside the shoes...not sure how long that will last, but it's worth a try i guess...

...

the ann's are great, but i like the taos better in blk patent...

of course the dries' are just so incredibly chic...but look hard to walk in i think....
....

great thread guys!!!...

The lacroix shoes are great- I really like the ornaments and the embellishments; it gives the shoe a femine feel, but doesn't take away any of the boldness the shoe possesses. On the other hand, I think the two bows at the front of the shoe when the shoe is other than black and silver is a little too busy at the front, one bow at the very front or either the top when the shoe is already colourful would have been my preference.
The DVN, V&R and Balmain shoes... well what else can I say apart from that they spell dynamic! I've been especially waiting for what V&R would come up with, can't say they've disappointed me in the shoe section (I've yet to take a look at the respective thread showing the whole collection), the colourful laceups are exciting; the colour combination is wonderful the black and whites are mesmerising me
I have commented that I thought the Balmain shoes are really eye catching, but to me they look a little unbalanced in that everything is encrusted in crystals or studs and it makes it look a bit 'top heavy', perhaps a small platform at the front of the shoe would have made it a little more balanced?
