I think 80's will come back. My parents saw the 80's but i didn't, i was a child and I personally i like to see my mom's looks from that period. I think 80's will come back to those people who haven't experienced it yet, like me. As a lot of people said, 80's are good once, not twice. Well, now it will be the first time for the people that was too young to live the 80's.
I hope you understand what i mean lol

I love the wide-shouldered nipped-waist blazers + slim pants/jeans because that's such a flattering silhouette for me. My mom is appalled but I looooooooove the Balmain jackets with the puffed shoulders and the defined waist. So fabulous.

The greatest mystery about fashion has got to be how it can alter your perspective regarding a certain look or trend. I remember when I was younger, I thought the 80s style was horrendous but as I grew older (and probably got more influenced by fashion trends), I began to appreciate the 80s style for being so bold and quirky. These days, my mom is just really amused at the way I dress and she'll often go, "I used to have something exactly like this..."

I thought of the '80s as a horrendous fashion decade then. Now that I'm older, I wish people would stop brown-nosing the '80s and move on with their lives. Nobody says a damn thing about the '80s being overhyped and overkilled, like it's the greatest decade of all time. Yes, I was born in 1983, but does that mean I have to be reminded and re-minded of the '80s? Only two good things about the '80s- video games and me being born.

Now for the useful part of my post. I love the fashions in Posts #89 and #90. I also love that... it looks like some culotte (as in the divided/split skirt culottes) jumpsuit from Sonia Rykiel Pre-Fall (Post #95, first picture).
