Noticed a few of these in various Marc Jacobs collections this season. I know that I've seen more in the past few months. Noticably in Nylon this past spring.

What's the verdict on the Fanny Pack in general?

Set for a comeback as part of the 80's/90's madness that's decending upon us?

I like how the girl in the second pic is wearing the fanny pack. I guess the fanny pack can look stylish if worn in a fashionable manner.

It looks bearable on the second girl only because you barly notice it, but i totally agree with "sprigged", there is no way anyone should try this, it just immediatly makes me think of Eddie from Ab Fab, and i dont think most people want to be that.

i like the Vuitton one but i think they are just way to early 90's bad! They just conjure up images of Saved By The Bell, Tourists and florescent yellow and pink! Unless they look totally hot and do not conjure up these images i might go there - but at the moment its a big NO to fanny packs!

I think theyre both terribly fugly. If you are going to do a fanny pack i think you need to make it look less like a fanny pack.

That leather one in the examples is SUPER!

japanese ones are way more stylish plus japanese people know how to mix them with the right clothes!

The 1st pic looks more like a hand warmer that isnt attached to the waist therefore I dont consider it as tacky-looking as a fanny pack.

personally, i don't like it! although the LV one looks quite good, i think that off runway it would look weird!

I like hip bags or the medicine bags made buy Red Moon. The only problem is they are so expensive, I think I will make my own.
