I have noticed that a lot of girls are sporting bunches of bracelets...
all mixed and matched...
this is definitely a trend that seems to have come from the street...
it is very 80's imo...
here's an example of this trend that i pulled out of the what are you wearing thread...
it's our very own strawberryminou......
do you know people who do this...
do you do this?...
what bracelets do you like and wear...?
please feel free to post pics...

yes...very trendy...i remember the olsens doing it a lot...i liked it on them...
i notice nicole richie does this a lot too...
i personally like it when you have pieces that each mean something to you...
i like the look of a bunch of things thrown together each with their own colours, shapes, textures etc... but i think it becomes more than just a 'trend' when they have some purpose to being there on your wrist other than just looking cool...
don't we have a thread somewhere for 'stacked' bangles?...it kind of reminds me of that...only now it's being done with everything...watches, string, bangles, beads, bracelets etc.. i think it's all part of that 'boho' summer thing that was revived....i don't know...a fw yrs ago?...maybe with rachel zoe...

exactly...
it's just a big mish mosh of stuff and each girl does it her own way...'
which is what i find interesting...
and i thought it might be nice to share what each thing means or where it's from
we actually did this sort of thing a lot in the 80's...
remember..Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, etc...
...
* am sure miss ZOE is old enough to remember this herself......

I think this is always around, for those that are so inclined. Personally sometimes even a watch seems like too much for me to wear.
I always associate it with those awful neon rubber rings of the late 90s, or with people covering things up. it's definitely nice to see those who have more meaningful choices though.
I'm a fan I have actually been doing this for a long time now. I have hair ties, string that was braided, wristbands from concerts or fests, leather ones, and I never take these bad boys off.
