had to watch this several times..
thanks for posting it, i didn't know he had videos on his site

very beautiful collection, austere..
even the flags are in a nice fabric

i had a deep green bed linen once just the same
the sheen and crispness, it disappeared when i washed it..

Anyway Scott, I had thought you were saying sethii had posted a cape that was like one of Raf's in this show but I didn't see any similar one
In any case I saw one i really loved..
this rippling one.. straight drapes.. (called 'pleats' i guess?) with diagonal hem.. i replay it to that section over and over (and screencapping every detail haha.
ctrl shift 3.)

rafsimons.com
screencap by me

^i've been watching that vid relentlessly myself! that was one of raf's best and most uninhibitedly strong showings.

i love the cascading pleats or frills one too!

he had done some others in that collection too that was less sweeping....the stiffer more structured ones just reminded of those that he did then. i doubt that was raf though.

scott you should check in vintage or charity shops (in France, I call this "friperie" but actually I don't know what you would translate .... it's a mix btw a vintage shop - because everything's pretty old - & a charity shop - because it's most of the time cheap, but we have charity shops like Secours Pop' or Secours Catholique etc.)
....
anyway .... i find mine in this sort of shop and it was, i think, a woman cape .... bit it's extremely beautifully made and long enough for me (by the knees) and a perfect wool .... it was from the 1960s-1970s and in a perfect condition !!!!

seriously, you should try .....

i wasn't that obsessed before i bought it it but when i saw it ..... OMG ....
a cape (on a man especially) really makes an outfit look delicious and .... i don't know .... it add something, really ... an attitude i think .....
moreover i'm not into the gothic-all-black style at all, i'm tall enough so ... i don't know i think it looks perfect on me .....
i'm not wearing it everyday (and it has spent a lot of time in the plastic bag since i bought it) because my bags aren't easy to carry with it .... but i still hadn't experimented all the possibilities it offers so everyday is a new day with it .....
