Catwalk Trends F/W 09.10

Fashion week has started and it's now time to spot trends!

Please remember to not start a thread about a catwalk trend without having examples of the trend in at least five different shows or collections

everything else goes in here

I'll start:
  • navy
  • underwear as outerwear

Well the bondage thing seems to still be going strong, so far anyway. It'll probably continue through the week at least, even if it doesn't carry over into the European collections.

But what I'm really noticing is this sort of urban savage sort of vibe...

I don't really know what to call it yet, it's still early, but it's got a sort of dystopian, post-apocalyptic feel to it. Vaguely tribal details, shaggy fur, wrapping and layering, armor-like elements combined with bondage-y stuff, lots of texture...

Alexander Wang

Herve Leger

red and black! nice observation, prehuman. I think they're great for f/w, the bright red gives a touch of warmth.

Possibly under the title 'Thunderdome'
I love that trend. I sort of hope it's going to stay around as the new sort of thing.
I dig modern.

I'm seeing a ton of not only loud prints, but mixed, mashed together prints and patterns.
