Catwalk Trends F/W 12.13
Lots of continuing trends so far, like burgundy, print clashing and black w/ white.

I've also been short, uniform-like skirts (wrap-ups, pleats). It should probably go in a thread as I've spotted it in over 5 shows but I still can't figure out where this falls. Besides it's mostly a New York/London thread so we're yet to see if the real trend setters in Milan and Paris follow through.

DKNY

Proenza Schouler

Edun

Diesel Black Gold

Rag & Bone

Those big belts that were in DKNY were also found at the ACNE show. The others seem to have a few chunky belts too. Perhaps that could be trending?

I found that there were some beautiful shapes floating around this season, most notably shared by Prada and Louis Vuitton.

The mid-waist. Here at Prada the belt detail is not low enough to be sat on the natural waistline, yet not high enough to be regarded as empire line, the illusion makes the arms and the lower body appear extremely long.

As with Prada, Marc Jacobs at Vuitton showed calf-length coats and dresses layered over trousers, these trousers often matched the over-garment, perhaps to create a very modern and flattering ankle-length hemline, with a nostalgic nod to '90s skousers?
