Wow I thought this trend was kind of done with.
I bought some purple Ksubi straight legs when I thought they were trendy in 2006. I still love them though, I'm glad it hasn't died out yet seemingly. It is very 90's I have to say but I LOVE the 90's so maybe I am biased. |

ok i know this might be super lame, because everyone here shops really high class, which i'm super jealous and wish i could, but being 6 ft tall means going where you can find length. having said that....
there are a bunch of cute colors on alloy.com and delias.com: ![]() ![]() ![]() http://store.alloy.com/item.do?itemID=49176 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() http://store.delias.com/browse.do?ca...ck=denim.color just a thought. ![]()

Is this look totally out now? I was thinking a pastel shade might be nice for spring so just wondering.

^^Really like the thought of pastel colors. I hate the large variety of bright, flashy colors that stores like Delias and PacSun are carrying. Bleh.
I love the grays, pale blues, even a pastel pink. Please no more bright pinks and seafoam greens..

Hmmm.. Bershka have uber-cheap pairs that come in quite nice colours.. beige, teal, grey, black, white, navy, bottle-green.. and then bright reds and blues.. not a bad fit either for €20!

I think colored jeans can look a bit tacky but darker colors would look nicer. I saw a picture of two teenvogue interns on their website and one of the girls was wearing a white long sleeve button down shirt with a yellow colored denim and it looked really great on her. I was tempted to buy a pair after that but couldn't find one that look flattering on me.

I love the bright coloured ones. I agree that it's hard to pull off but I really love them. I bought a faded green pair from Zara last week but I have a pretty big collection lols... my closet's like a rainbow when you get to my jeans. I have a mustard/yelowish pair, red, blue, purple, and fuschia. I really need to stop buying them.

Last week, I think I saw a little girl in colored denim. These were some sky blue denim jeans. And nice way to dress up for a 70-degree, almost 80-degree day in January in Houston- legs tucked into boots. Colored denim (excluding white, black, khaki, tan, etc.) can be tricky to pull off unless you really know what you're doing wearing colored denim. You can wear these without having a colorful mismatch. I haven't seen any sort of tasteful colored denim outside of Victoria Secret or Newport News catalogs.
