Combat Boots
I found the best ones by Jeffrey Campbell. he is such a god. this trend is keepin' on. I actually saw a jap wearing a pair today and they really looked great. it really goes with the military chic trend.

I've always loved combat boots! I guess it's what I took away from my rivethead phase

I've found it hard to find a nice pair that isn't super wide though :/

I love combat boots.

My favorites are my Dr. Marten's, Frye's and a pair I got from an Army/Navy store.

modern jap, you'll need to provide the source for those images as per tFS Policy. Thank you.

I haven't actually got a pair but I love them as they're quite a versatile shoe. I love them, especially when they're worn in a bit.

Love them. Always have, always will. I own 5 pairs of combat boots I have the classic ones from Underground, some with platforms, studs and buckles and one pair with heels. I don't like them paired with the whole military look that seems to be coming back (camouflage pants and such), but I love them with short skirts, skinnies and hot pants.

I thought of getting Dr.Martens' combat boots but the ones which are sold in my country all suck and aren't even remotely interesting.

^same here. I wore my combat boots almost constantly till about 3 years ago, and it's hard work finding another pair that looks right. And what's not to love- they're easy to move around in and make me look like a bad*ss.

combat boots have been so strong for awhile but really making a showing recently mostly with studded accompaniments. the neat thing is they can have so many different looks to them... laces and buckles (ann demeulemeester and doc martens), engineer styling (frye and tao), short and tall, shearling lined (marc jacobs 2006)...you get my drift. i'm looking forward to wearing them with shorts and skirts when the warmer weather finally comes, but right now they slog through slush just fine.

I want to get a pair of doc martens- need to find stores/sellers that will ship them over to my country though! And yes, they have been going strong for a while- I love the 90s .
