They look like something you would buy at Hot Topic. Therefore, I loath them with every fiber of my being. Yes, I used to shop at Hot Topic when I was an adolescent. A very deeply misguided adolescent.

i remember those had a vague come-back when galliano did this show mixing Poiret silhouettes with teddy boys codes ...
they even had a page in Vogue Paris ... it was in 2003 or 2004 (?)

i think it looks great on certain people (punk, mainly) ...
but not on me ! not on me at all !!

My dad has a leopard print pair. He wears them with skinny jeans. He's pretty cool my dad.

They are not really my style and I can't see myself wearing them. But I have to say I do enjoy seeing how other people wear them, when it's done right, the effect is pretty awesome.

Don't like them at all. Reminds me of the shoes the Spice Girls used to wear in 1997, only their's were higher.

i'm in 2 minds.
sometimes they look hideously garish,
other times they look amazing.
The shoes from Jil Sander's f/w 08/09 collection were, some say, derived from brothel creepers.

(hangten.typepad.com)

here's an editorial that made actual creepers look good too (or at least that's my opinion)

^ those look cool. I've never seen them with a pointed toe before.
Ya I think when done right, they can look pretty cool. I've been debating back and forth whether or not to get them, and I think I'm going to. I love experimenting ! :p
They remind me of Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day lol.

I agree with Tangerine. It's certainly a style that traces fashion for Teddy Boys, Rockabillies, Psychobillies & Punks. Had to share these pictures from the 80's:

Creepers are actually tolerable to me. Unless an uprising of mainstreaming Goth comes along, and unless this uprising catches on, then very few people are going to get into these creepers. It's not what one should immediately think in regards to these shoes, but I don't think this will catch on if someone wanted to make these trendy. And you know someone will...

I think they're ugly and bulky, and I am disappointed that so many people have taken to them just because of their presence on fashion blogs.
