I've never worn creepers before, but ever since i saw them at the MaxMara Spring/Summer 2008 collection i actually slightly wanted to own a pair. I think they complimented the collection quite well.

I like a thick sole that makes you feel anchored, but no, I do not like the "classic" creeper style.

I love the ones Jil Sander did for fall 08, and i quite like what Chloe Sevigny did with OC for fall 09. And then these...

these are divine...

does anybody know where i can order george cox shoes online in europe, except from the two uk sites mentioned at the official george cox website?

i adore the ones yohji yamamoto wears. the ones called 'pop boy' look fine as well, not creepers, though.

Agreed I love all of those.

I've always been on the fence about the 'classic' creeper style. I think I sort of like them Though the ones with a high platform would be perfect concerts shoes for me as I'm actually looking for a pair of platforms that I'm able to jump around in. And so far old 90's Buffalos have been my best bet
The 'classic' creepers with the high platform just took the lead

Anyway, I do really love the pointy ones. And I've been thinking about getting a pair from 'Underground'. I like this model (and color)

I looked a couple pages ago and can't find one attractive pair. They are all so unflattering and look like orthopedic footwear. Why do people do that to themselves???

I reeeeeeeallly don't get these. I see a few people I know wearing them, the indie ones who pretend they're not indie ...
I just don't see why??

the prada shoes are not creepers, i'd say. the creeper is a traditional shape worn in the 50's and 60's by the teddyboys. prada's are classic luxurious mens shoes (derbys or brogues? - i am not an expert) with different sole fabrics glued together. creepers are not luxurious, they were made out of egyptian military boots. comme des garcons did similar shoes like this seasons prada shoes in the 90's, bit cooler actually.

btw i'd like to know if is there a manufactorer, who makes similar platform shoes like the prada or cdg ones originally?
