All the images posted are lovely. I use to dance and love all the neat things you can do with dance warmups and such

Here is my real-way version of the run-way styles posted...
I have this wrap sweater in black that I wear with jeans, a tank top, and black round toe flats that look like ballet slippers. (it also looks sheek thrown over a strapless tea-length dress in the summer)

I agree, she's very elegant! I did a quick search and found the photo...the city is Buenos Aires. Here's the link:

Oh, I love your new photos...you have an amazing collection of images.
thanks a lot, luxmode :flowers:!!!it bothered me that i didn´t know where it was taken...

more alessandra ferri....these are going to be the last pictures i´ll post...i promise :whistling:.i know i´m too far away from the thread´s topic.....
pic nr. 2 :as blanche dubois in a streetcar named desire.i think the custome suits the role perfectly.i like the fact that she wore a blonde wig like vivien leigh in the film-adaption.
nr.3 : very modern and urban looking.not really my thing.it reminds me of the 80´s.could be from a balanchine-ballet.again i can´t remember where i found the picture .

That first you posted is so beautiful, somnambule!
I can't see the third picture?!

Here are some Givenchy ads for this season, and I think they're just beautiful and a bit balletic.

Ballet dancers make it look really easy, but ballet is so difficult.

that is part of the wonderful appeal. ballet is incredibly hard and requires an athlete to do...but it also requires such intense control and grace...and you have to look good doing it. it's a very aesthetic-important sport...like figure skating and rythmic gymnastics. I get so much inspiration from all the great pics everyone has posted.
