yeah I know but I haven't noticed them on the runway in the last seasons so this one must be the right..although they're purely decorative, my fingers could get frozen so I don't know if I'll take that risk.
I love my long leather fingerless gloves. They are actually very practical. THey don't have separations for each finger, just one bigger one for the 4 fingers and a smaller one for the thumb. So I guess it is more like leather fingerless mittens. But yeah they are perfect for smoking, using a touch device like ipod or iphone, and most other things. If it is very cold I put bigger mittens on top or gloves. I also think this has been around or a while, or maybe it is jut one of those things that never really goes away...

Good things come to those who shop.
yeah- i don't think you could call this a trend....
they show up every fall...
it's just a basic timeless look...
like a trenchcoat...or a motorcycle boot...
and they are not called 1/2 finger gloves...
they're called fingerless....
even the ones that just have the tips cut off...
the ones that are just tips are a whole other category
they wouldn't be part of the fingerless trend...
it would be a separate trend...
i guess you could just lump every type of wrist and finger covering into one category...
but - that's not really specific enough to be a real trend...
that would be like saying 'shoes' are a trend...
which obviously would be silly...
