I've been wearing my geek glasses for about half a year and I've gotten at least 10 compliments from strangers. For those who are unsure, I say go for it. As long as you pick a pair with the right colour and shape to flatter you, I don't think it looks overly trendy or ridiculous.

when my grandmother passed away she left a huge bin of old lady glasses that i popped the lenses out of and used to wear out all the time... haven't done it in a while but i'm thinking i should start again, i think it's a fun look. i don't think i 'pull it off' well very seriously, but i think they're great fun accessories as long a the rest of your outfit isn't too quirky.

You know those black horn rimmed glasses you buy as reading glasses for $1 at a dollar store or the similarly priced sunglasses worn by the Blues Brothers?

Well they have always been worn by Albert Maysles, a film maker. Just got an email from Barneys saying they've just come out with a Barton Perrelra version that looks just like the original for only $350 as readers or a mere $365 as sunglasses.

I love this trend of geek glasses but I look like a teacher or a witch in them XDDDD. or maybe I just need to find a different shape because the one I have looks weird on me haha

Anna Laub makes amazing glasses for her line, Prism! I think Feb Harper's Bazaar (or maybe it is Vogue) mentions them.

I am surprised by how well some people can pull off Geeky glasses. I own a few pair myself and they can be quite complimenting to many face types.
