I wear glasses and mine look a bit like .francesca's .....but this geek look is dreadful. It reminds me of the glasses I had in junior school, when I had to have what my insurance would pay for!
I stumbled around blind all day and only put them on in class .
I used to hate having to wear glasses as a kid... I just couldn't wait to finally get contact lenses (when I learned about their existence).... But this whole geek glasses idea is really appealing to me... ...
I wish I could wear contacts, but my degree of astigmatism is so bad that even the special weighted ones don't give me good vision.
It doesn't matter though,as most people seem not to be able to decide whether I look better with or without glasses...which I choose not to take as an insult
I am so used to them now;they are part of me.
The only thing is that I love to snorkel, and I don't see very much through goggles! Only in the US have I found prescription goggle lenses for rental...

I really like them, they look sorda cute, but then again it all depends on the shape of your face. They all look good, especially that cory kid whom I see eveywhere. I want some now...

I have a black thick-framed kinda square shaped pair from Prada. They have a slight greenish tint and they really suit my round face. I think they look good on almost everyone as long as you get a pair that flatters your face shape.
i've had bad eyes my whole life, but never wore glasses full time - i've worn contacts for about 12 years. i only started wearing specs full time last year...and never in the winter (hate the fogging!)
I have a pair of geek glasses in an rectangular-ovalish shape and I always feel self conscious (I feel like the school nerd) when I wear them.
I had a sore eye the other week and had to wear the glasses instead of my usual contact lenses and to my surprise, people commented that it was a good look! hahaha
