I don't know if those specify as geek glasses, I just know that they have the most beautiful shape I've ever seen and that they are not subtle/inconspicuous. I am wearing them in black for 2 years now:

I like thick black frames. Just not the wide ones that covers half of the face.

i was wearing geek glasses way before they were "chic", and they are meant to really make me look geeky, because im legally blind without them (or contacts). i have via spiga pink modenas

I actually find them to be rather adorable!
I just went in for a pair of new frames the other day... and tried on, for fun, a few of those wide, geeky, older man frames. I'm almost regretting not buying myself a pair now! The obvious drawback to the trend though; is the longevity... I'm not really sure who'd want to be found wearing a pair for the next year or so.
