To be honest, I have no problem with glitter or sequins or anything like that. I could recall sequins mostly being on formal outfits. Now, you see them almost everywhere ranging from tunics to flip-flops/thong sandals. It's a mostly cheap way to show some glitter and sparkle. Problem is, just depends on what kind of sequin or metallic garments or accessories you're talking about or wearing. I've seen some handbags with really big sequins, and I find those to be pretty tacky and really overkill. The sequins need to be small at best. There also has to be a lovely balance of sequins for an outfit to sparkle (even without sequins or metallics). You can't just throw together these sparkly accents and expect to look great (like the second picture in Post #49). You have to have an even balance to make something already lovely even more so (like the third and fourth pictures in Post #49).
The back of those Calvin Klein pumps look terrible. The heel at the back looks like it wants to escape the shoe. Just look closely at them! The shoes look lovely, but that heel looks like it's breaking apart from the shoe. Was this a cost-cutting measure in this economic climate? PLEASE remedy this if you plan on releasing this shoe.
Hmm how do I post images in a reply? Sorry I'm only new to the forums here but I know that sequins/glitter were all over the Kenzo by Antonio Marras show this season and I don't know how to post the pics? There's pics on elle.com but they are not high def enough and then the ones on the kenzo press site are way too high def I think lol
