I think this only looks okay when it's done in black and on a funeral or something like that

otherwise this gives me too much of a costumee-feel.. and reminds me of my moms old wardrobe

Ooh, I love this! My favourite trend of the season. I hope they become a big trend, it would be charming to see women wearing these.

My favourites were from Luella (the black ones especially) - but I like the Alexander McQueen ones, although I think they were hairnets, actually. I'm so sure I saw some good ones at John Rocha's show too, but now I can't find any pictures, sorry.

The question is: how can one wear these without looking too costume-y? To what occassions would this look good for? Other than funerals, of course...
