^^ those skinny-leg ones look really ungainly. She looks like a wishbone. I think natural-waist or high-waist trousers look best with an unfitted (but not necessarily baggy) leg.

I love the look of high waisted trousers, but I find them a bit too uncomfortable to wear - I especially hate sitting down in them

If the fabric has a tiny bit of stretch to it, it should not be uncomfortable. I am working on a pair, and the fabric has like 1% of lycra and I think they will be just fine. Also, they have a faced waist, rather than a waistband, and I think it will be more comfortable. They come up to my natural waist, which I find is perfectly well comfortable. The Empire Waist ones, however, I think would feel awful.

My new ones have a similar rise to the ones photographed above, but mine have a straight cut leg with about 2" of ease all the way down.

I love empire waist trousers, I designed a pair, though I haven't seen a pair on the runway or in person. They would look so good with a white button up shirt...Empire waist pencil skirts as well...

I love low rise pants, though not to the point where it's like,"hey look at me I got a brazilian bikini wax just to wear these pants". I like them because I can actually sit comfortably. I am short, about 5'3, but I don't believe the low waisted pants look bad on me. I guess that' just because my body is proportionate. Anyways, with the style of clothing I wear, it would just look weird to wear high wasted pants(and you'd probably shoot me if you saw my outfits, too lol).
Me too ...
Firstly, I got no waist. Second, it's pretty darned uncomfortable. Thridly, I feel they make my *** look huge!!!

you will never in a million years see me wearing high waisted pants. they just do not fit me well at all, for my body type. but if you have the body type for it and you like it, go for it. at least some of us will be able to pull it off .

I have two black ones, one is Aramni that I bought like 4 years ago, and one is balenciaga FA2004..I'm 5'7 and 115lbs..A lot of people are afraid to wear them..and lots of my friends think im gutsy to wear them..since most girls my age wear tight jeans at night...i wear both mine (which are tapered and baggy) with a tiny top (u have to balance it out) I especially love to wear either one with my Valentino cropped black top..black and black with heels can never go wrong..especially with high waisted pants...! Good luck!

Try ebay. They were all over it not too long ago. Search for Balenciago or Chloe. A lot of posts showed the shot of Chloe Sevigny wearing them.

I like the look, too!! You just have to have a proportioned figure to pull it off
