It's pretty hard to argue after this Vogue Paris ed that Hijab isn't trending:

the Vogue Paris editorial is one of the best they've done in months ...
but i'm not so sure it could cross the frontiers, to be sincere.

i imagine some women though can be dressed like this under the black-robe ....

especially in JPG !!!
i really love it !!!!
Roitfeld part (the one shot on location, in Morroco probably) is sooo good !!!

Ethnic style by Bernice Geoffroy-Schneiter

Do the women wear this? http://www.raggedmag.com/images/uploads/v18_thumb.jpg
I've seen only men in it (the blue)..
Does it have a name..?

Also: is it a rule that the headcover must always be black?

you're welcome

Hey it seems we call it the same thing in English.

A cheche is a garment worn by the Tuareg people over their heads and necks to protect themselves from the wind and sand[1]. It usually has many layers that cover the head and it drapes down to loosely cover the neck. It is also worn by some French people as a scarf.
Another name for the Cheche is the tagelmust.
I think it's funny(?) they add this part about the French people

I guess it depends on the culture what colour and what can be added to it. In the city here I've seen a family, they were all wearing pink and a faded army green. They were all wearing the same fabric. In a show I watched about a trip to Iran, everyone was in black. There was only one woman in reddish-brown --she and along with her (male) friend, they were clearly fashion students

Here's her outfit (drawn by gius lol). It was a voluminous 'hood' with gathers all around it, part of her jacket or dress.. can't remember correctly. I can't get the colour right -it was a very pretty shade of brown and such an interesting garment; and her hair was bleached and permed.
