Have you noticed how we've been seen this up and coming trend on many shows?
From the Gucci dresses with the loose straps to the McQueen skirts & pants with the fringy edges ?
So .. what do you guys think?
Do you see a trend here?
Do you like it/wear it?

Sometimes it doesn't look good to me. Liya Kebede is wearing an "undone" tweed suit from Versace in July's Vogue, and to me, it just looks tatty. It looks like rug that some dog has torn up that someone decided to make into a suit. Without all those ripped lines, it would look better. As long as its not overdone like that, it's OKAY...

oh i like the tweed suit.
i love the gucci dresses. i love how the detailing is centered elsewhere other than the hem.
i like this trend it makes all of this stuff seem more uhh...for lack of a better word real.
you can get perfect hems on cheap prom or beauty pageant dresses but all of this stuff can be mixed with other things.
it's not stiff and formal. i like it. even on the most elegant attire.

^ I agree with him^
I liked the Prada and Gucci looks, but I wasn't toooo big on the tweed suit. I think it looked TOO undone...just because tweed might actually look like that when it gets old! But with things like satin, it's less likely, to me, it's a bit more funky. It seems more deliberate rather than an example of someone not taking care of their clothes! Haha. I have weird ideas, I suppose.
Yup, that's it. It looks better on the runway than in the shoot. In the shoot, it's much closer up. The more I look at it, it looks better, but to me it still looks quite a bit like a really fancy rug...I do, however, like the print & colour scheme a lot.
(It can be okay, but only when deliberate looking or sort of natural and random. Oh, God. That makes no sense. Do you know what I'm talking about? Jeez)
